Links to Club with Web PagesBecause I maintain a site about Guildford Fencing Club, I often get e-mails along the lines of: "I live in XXX, and I know it's nowhere near Guildford but can you tell me where I can find somewhere nearby to fence?" Of course, I am happy to try and offer advice; but I do not have much special knowledge outside my own area. I have compiled a list of other clubs in the UK and Ireland which have their own websites, and it is shown on the map below. For a full list of clubs, including those without their own websites, see this page. You should be able to to drag the map around with the mouse, and to use the controls at the top left of the map to zoom in or out. Click on the map near where you want to find a club, and then click on an icon to show the name of the club and a link to the club's web page. The blue markers are clubs open to the public. The orange markers are university clubs. Note that positions are approximate, and sometimes plain wrong. The inclusion of a club on this map does not imply that I have checked or aproved it: I try to include as many links as I can. Please let me know if you have a new link, or a more accurate location. |
If you cannot use the map, here is the list of web sites and links:
